The Florida Hickory Golfers wrapped up the season with our annual championship at historic Mount Dora Golf Association on Founders Day, the anniversary of the first tee shot being struck on the golf course in 1947. Some wild weather on Saturday made for tough conditions but Sunday was mild and very pleasant. Will Peterson remains the king of Florida Hickory running away with the most points to retain the Stevens Trophy. Dan Capaz bettered his quota requirement by 8 points to take the Heritage Trophy from Carlos Debarros and Natalie Wells retains the Rosemary Pabst Trophy for another year.
