The online version of Golf Digest just posted an article about one of the first American-made woods being for sale (a Bridgeport Gun Implement Company (BGI) pictured below – circa 1898). Sadly, it was a poorly edited piece of garbage article. Except for the headline, they never noted the wood was available on ebay at a Buy It Now price of $2,500. I guess they figured the sentence I just wrote would take up too much space on their website. Sad. Or as The Donald would Tweet – Sad!
Is it so difficult to include the essential details in an article? Ugh. Even us internet readers want the facts, so please include them.
