Oh my gosh! The Society of Hickory Golfers — your international organization for all things hickory golf and related — has introduced a brand, spanking new website!
It’s clean and modern and looks great on your iPhone. For those of you who’ve never visited before, the URL is hickorygolfers.com. Cruise around and see what’s new. As before, anyone can keep a handicap on the site, which is a necessary item for those folks playing the national hickory events.
This new site also features a Members Only Forum, so we can chat about things away from the prying eyes of non-members. Worried about what we’re typing? Perhaps this would make a good reason for you to join the SOHG? You can do that on the new site too. And if you see some bugs (which you certainly will, because it’s brand), send them to me and I’ll forward on the comments.
Personal disclosure – your friend and mine, Bill Geisler was the man in charge of making the new site happen. Programmer extraordinaire was Eric Johnson, who continues to squash bugs and make improvements as we speak. Myself (RG) and SOHG editor Jim Davies also contributed some brainpower and commentary.
Enjoy!
