The NY Post recently ran an interesting article on why Nike really failed in the golf equipment business – “Equipment failure exposes Nike’s absurd Tiger Woods lie“. Surprise, it has a lot to do with Tiger Woods and overestimating the trend-consciousness of golfers. I don’t think it’s 100% accurate, but it’s a good read anyway.
