It was a typical hot summer day and the Temple Terrace course played difficult as always. James Chambers amassed 22 points proving that home course knowledge of the tricky greens is important. Kirby Wilson put in another strong effort to take the quota side with plus 3 on his card. He also teamed up with Scott Bowles for team honors pocketing $15 each. Kudos to Debs Herrington who was the only fair maiden brave enough to take on the steamy conditions.
Next up is the Florida Hickory Open at historic Dubsdread GC in Orlando, August 21&22.
Looking forward to hickoring in Florida Have been busy with SOHG in Indiana,Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, New York, Learned to make sand tees at NHC at mound course and Foxburg. Also got to play gutty golf
