The World Hickory Open has just wrapped up in Scotland. Here’s some coverage from the Arbroath Herald and another story from The Courier. It appears that US golfer Cliff Martin, from Los Angeles, was “winner of the World Hickory Open’s Amateur Scratch title and also became the first recipient of the Archie Baird Trophy for the top amateur.” 2015 Champion was Andrew Marshall (pictured right) who shot a very solid 67 / 76 to beat Cliff by a single stroke.
FHG Captain Mike Stevens finished T13 with a 75 / 85. Other Florida connections – Brian Schuman (T15 – 82/82) and Dan Capaz (94/99) – forgive me if I missed others on first glance. Get all the results at the World Hickory Open site.
