A beautiful day was on hand as the Florida Hickory Golfers took on the lake Wales Country Club, a Donald Ross layout in Central Florida. Nice to see Steve Powell of Jacksonville back in action. Lot of good golf with Natalie Wells primed for the Southern Hickory taking the day at plus 8. Bill Geisler pounded out 31 points topping yours truly by 2.
Following our FHG round, several FHG members headed to Birmingham for Tad Moore’s Southern Hickory Four-Ball Tournament – Geisler, Stevens. Grula, Bowles, Wells, Likens, Dunnigan. Results coming soon. Expect to see some hardware!
