Turned out to be a fantastic weekend at historic Mount Dora Golf Club as the Florida Hickory Golfers conducted their annual championship.
Mike Stevens nosed out Bill Geisler by a single point to capture the Stevens Trophy as FHG’s Champion Golfer of the Year. In the Heritage competition it was no competition for Marci Likens who carved up the field by 14 plus points over her nearest competitor.
Congratulations to all FHG golfers who participated in our monthly events this past year. We look forward to more lively competition in 2020.
