It was cold. It was windy. Reminiscent of many October days on the links of Scotland. All in all though I would have to say that Mayfair is another gem on the Florida Historic Golf Trail. A lot of interesting holes with classic green complexes. Would highly recommend a stop there if in the area. The folks were very welcoming and a lot of golfers there had queries about hickory golf. As for the play, Will Peterson accumulated 33 points 5 clear of Lee Wilson. Rich Grula was in fine form and was 7 points above his quota. He also teamed with Richard Boggs to run away with team honors at plus 11. Would also like to welcome new members Kipp Brandt and Chris Berens who played hickories for the first time and quite well I might add.
